Rules of the SHGC XC League

All flights will be under the National XC League Rules unless SHGC local rules override them.

SHGC Local Rules.

  1. Entry to the SHGC XC League is only open to paid-up members of the SHGC.
  2. There is no minimum distance for an open distance flight.
  3. FAI and flat triangles must be at least 5km
  4. Multipliers due to declarations are not allowed for flights which are mainly in ridge lift. This is inferred in the National League but could be mis-interpreted.
  5. The Newhaven to Brighton Marina out and return is admissible in the league, however the SHGC will only consider two cliff run entries out of the maximum six flights available in the league.
  6. The winter league for paragliders finishes on the last day of February, not March
  7. The SHGC Committee members are the final referees in any dispute.
