Flight details
Title: Bopeep to Swanborough (almost)
Site:Bo Peep
Pilot:Vincent Talleu
Date of flight:4th September 2014
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
After a very long morning soaring and hanging in the wind, finally a thermal good enough for cloudbase came along!
Thanks to the hangies for helping find the lift! (Sorry guys I never know who is who, all hang gliders look the same to me :D)

Not having the van on the hill really helps stay committed to the climb, and I stuck with it until cloudbase.
Having learnt the lessons from yesterday I pushed inland and was instantly rewarded with a good climb back to base.
Confident I was gonna fly 100k I started texting my girlfriend and taking pictures while on glide towards Kingston, only to find myself very low just behind the ridge.
Found scraps of lift here and there but nothing good enough to help me up so I landed there. Gutted.

Fortunately I did get a lift back to Glynde on Steve P's bike and it was quite a thrill!

Every day is an adventure! Loving it ;)
