| Flight details: | So I arrived at Mount Caburn around 9am only to find that it was blowing a Hooli,I thought I would take a walk to the top anyway as the exercise would do me good.I saw Vincent (another Paraglider pilot )nearly at the top.So up I went only to find Vincent had disappeared. It was gusting over 30mph so what to do.any attempt to fly would definitely have ended very badly so I decided to turn on my GPS and start walking to Firle Beacon. On my decent I bumped into Vincent at the gate who kindly offered Tea in his camper van, I told Vincent my plans of walking to Firle then on to Bo Peep, High and over then Newhaven.but he didn't seem overly impressed with that Idea so off I set on my own.

My first stop was at Airworks in Glynde I thought I would pop my head around the door and say hello to Steve Purdie who offered me a lend of his lightweight Skyman paraglider this I duly accepted as it was less than half the weight of my Chillie 2 and pod harness,.Off I set stopping to say hello at Fly Sussex then crossing the A27 up to Firle. As I reached the top of Firle the wind had not let up which was rather consoling as I hadn't wasted my time walking when I could be flying.I swerved as I walked past the launch site as I wanted to be sure to have taken in the GPS cylinder.( I must figure out out how to load them into XCsoar (a fly app for my phone)..On to Bo Peep passing many dog walkers and families out out for the day.A quick detour to launch at Bo Peep then a sharp right towards High and Over.

My route took me through a valley where the Poppys where coming into bloom then past some weird plants which I am yet to identify ( maybe you can)
