| Flight details: | Arrived at Caburn to find it very strong and a couple of pilots gale hanging so decided to go and see what was happening at Newhaven along with a couple of others. It looked a bit off to the west, but Garry T braved the first launch and maintained a few feet above the cliff. Three more of us launched and headed round the corner where the wind was more directly on. the lift went up to about 150 above take off max but if was consistent enough to make it to the marina and back, adding some extra entertainment for all the beach lovers who were out enjoying the sun. First time I have flown to Brighton and back. A very chilled out flight. |
