| Flight details: | Well after hearing all of you guys raving about combe, i was expecting a spectacular looking site, when i arrived i found a fairly low hill, not that long and a rubbish top landing.... BUT, it obviously works well as Me, Nev and Ollie launched straight into a thermal and left, i landed after about 70kms as i was trying to keep up with the current cross country league leader Nev Almond on what turned out to be his New uk record breaking flight of a declared 140km out and return flight, it was a lovely flight and i will definitely return to Combe soon! |
