So despite being high (about 2900 I think) at the pass I started hunting around for sink, found a bit so hung about in it, then faffed a bit more not quite knowing what to do but having an overwhelming feeling that I wanted to be on the ground rather than the air, and plopped over the pass at about 1300. It was only then I was overcome by a desire to be at base rather than on the ground, but too late. No low saves for me that day. |
