| Flight details: | We left rainy Sussex for overcast Combe Gibbet. It was nicely soarable, and we all got a fair bit of air time, but cross-country didn't happen. When a bit of sun came through I got up to 2400 ASL, but that wasn't enough to go, with an unspectacular sky downwind. The wind picked up and the overcast returned. Good practice, though. Thanks to Steve P for driving. I heard afterwards that Westbury and the Blorenge produced good cross-countries. We should have gone further! |
