| Flight details: | I live about 13km NNW of Mount Caburn and have always fancied flying home and landing in the field next to the house. And today was the day! After quite a few less than successful attempts to get up and away, climbed slowly out from the W end of the bowl drifting N. With not too much W in the breeze and so only limited cross wind work needed, bimbled my way over very familiar country enjoying the views. Had a bit of height to burn before landing, so an opportunity to provide voices out of the sky to confuse my neighbour who wondered if a visitation was on the way.
