| Flight details: | At the start of this year I declared three flying goals that I wanted to achieve this year and today I managed to achieve one of them; which is to fly to the Arlington Reservoir from Bo Peep.
I have checked my declaration and I didn't actually state that I wanted to get to the reservoir *and* back; and for a while I thought that I wouldn't make it back to top land but in the field in front of the ridge I found a good thermal with Shaun which took me back to 2,500' and allowed me to attempt to tick-off a second goal in the same flight (an FAI triangle flight worth at least 20). In the end I only got 2km flying west down the ridge before I turned back and I was unable to extend the triangle to the east. My FAI triangle score would only have been 13k so only one goal ticked off and two to go.
