| Flight details: | My best flight at Beachy so far, we saw a good window with low tide at 4 so got there about 3pm to rig, beautiful smooth air, easy soaring at 1600ft. Sea thermals and Cumulus forming over the sea due to a good cold airmass. Only Steve u, Chris, Nicos and me flying with Steve Cook helping some launch. Wind was about 15mph SSE occasionally South. We landed before 6pm even though conditions were still perfect. Nicos bought a bottle of champagne for us after flying as i had my first days hang gliding 3 years ago today, followed by Fish and Chips in the pub afterwards!!! An awesome afternoon/evening. |
