Title: Down to business
Site:Bo Peep
Pilot:Andrew Craig
Date of flight:15th April 2014
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
Bo Peep was very blowy when I got to launch, although Dave Nickels (I think) was doing fine up in the air, and eventually disappeared. After an even blowier spell, a lull came; Owen launched his tandem and rose into the stratosphere with his small passenger, while a Delta (Dickon) also headed into the distance.

So off I went; I tried to follow Phil into a thermal above the bonfire to the right, but was too late or too low. Never mind, another one appeared and up I went. I tried pushing out under a promising cloud street, but was going at a snail's pace and not climbing much either, so eventually headed off to the trig point. There a nice climb appeared, which took me high enough to cross the river, investigate another promising but disappointing cloud, and arrive over Swanborough with still a few hundred feet. Those feet were precious, as the gliders lower down were scratching, with some top and slope landings.

I found another climb, but not so high this time, and I had enough altitude to cruise to a landing at Woodingdean Business Park. This time Matty was my generous saviour. Back at Bo Peep it was sea breezing, and still flyable, but clearly not pleasant.

Two 20k flights in two days -- it's 2013 all over again!
