Go to Bo Peep about 12 just as it was dying off and pilots were landing and going. Decided to stay as I was there anyway and do some ground handling. There was a brief bit of lift and about 5 of us took off in it. Kept us up for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then the next bit of lift came through and again about 5 of us took off. I made my way up to the trig point and on towards Firle with Dave Massie and Shaun. I pushed out on the way back and hit this line of lift.
It took me up to about 1800 ASL when I was above the A 27. At that point I got concerned that there seemed to be lift everywhere and I could see cloud base looming and it had started to get a bit rough. So I left it at that point and came down and landed. |
