Mark Rubinstein2nd Mar 05:23: Nice one Simon; well done! My only concern is about your ability to count; do you really think that there were only 20-30 pilots present? Mark
Simon Steel1st Mar 06:04: In my thermal
Scott Dougal1st Mar 07:24: Im not surprised it was busy... the clouds looked very good almost all day.. -- my flying and photos are here... http://www.stovolando.co.uk
Toby Quantrill1st Mar 07:54: Nice flight, I followed a very similar route with a Delta (I think?) but missed the climb and landed near Asda. Toby
David Williamson1st Mar 10:28: Nicely. A bit unlucky in that that one day earlier would have qualified for the winter league. " It's got to be rough to be good!"
Simon Steel3rd Mar 01:44: That was me. If that was you on the Geo. I did write a long wright up but went to edit it and lost it. But thanks for finding the second thermal, shame your glide wasnt quite good enough for the third!
Toby Quantrill2nd Mar 08:35: Yup, was me on the Geo 2. It goes up well enough, but I do have to pick better lines if I want to keep up on glides! It was a lovely day though and a remarkably stress free flight, I managed to avoid the crowds by the cunning (and lucky) ploy of taking off and going up and over the back almost straight away.
