Firle was very windy most of the day and there was a fair bit of waiting around for conditions to settle. I eventually took off on my Java after lunch and only managed 20 minutes of strenuous gale hanging before having to land, knackered.  An hour or so later the wind strength abated a bit and I had a go on Luke and Ian's U2. I flew the ridge from end to end while Luke flew the Java.  The U2 is a nice wing; nicer than my Java, but then it's much newer.  We packed up at sunset then most of us went down to The Ram in Firle before heading home.
