| Flight details: | Nothing epic like the guys flying down from Selsley and Liddy but after a breezy day at the Dyke finally managed to hook into a climb to just under 5000 feet,. Where I left it as the airspace alarm went off. Was then trying to get out of the shade to find another climb but nothing really materialized ( hard work flying on your own without a gaggle) Eventually got to Lewes. Then had an agonising train journey back to Brighton due to a 1 and half hour delay because someone decided to go wandering over the tracks at eastbourne resulting in them having to turn off the power. Thanks to Catherine and Hugh for offers of pick ups on the way which I had to turn down due to the late running trains. But always fun flying and always an adventure no matter how long the xc |
