| Flight details: | Got a climb with Vincent, Garry, Boris and ED. Took us to cloud base (yay) at 1800 ft (boo). Garry and Ed went off ahead. I tagged Vincent and we were a thermal or two behind. We got a weak climb somewhere near Ringmer. I left it when I thought we had gotten what we could from it and headed off looking for the next one. Vincent stuck with it and squeezed out some more height. I got another small climb which drifted me a bit further along and saw Vincent doing much better. There were some power lines coming up and I couldn't scrape enough height to clear them so landed. Only to see Vincent sailing off over head. With base at just under 2000 it was a fun flight. |
