| Flight details: | Got into a lovely climb with John T and Vincent on a red Carera. Very nice climbing with you gents. Then John T peeled off (why?) and Vincent suddenly climbed much faster and higher and disappeared (where did he go?). I slowly climbed on getting to 3,800 before choosing to track more North towards a good looking sky in front of the Ditchling Ridge. A sky full fluffy cu's, paragliders, hanggliders, model planes and sail planes (not to mention passenger planes and small aircraft) you would think I would find some marked climbs but I never got a really good climb again. Against a Sunday backdrop of cricket and gunshots (each to their own recreation) I ended up low in front of Ditchling ridge landing by a pig farm in Offham.
Roger landed a few fields over so we met in the local pub and were kindly retrieved by Maggie and Pete. Thank you both. |
