| Flight details: | Felt like sea air had already reached the hill, so I took a weak climb over the back at around 900ft ASL and drifted, hoping to reach the clouds and better air a few ks downwind. After much mincing, I finally connected with a good climb between Laughton and Ringmer gliding club. Meanwhile Pete Impey managed to squeak over the back and tip toe his way across without the sink monsters devouring him. I pushed on and found some surprisingly good climbs in the blue, but as I approached Tenterden the air seemed to turn stable and I found no more lift so landed. Many thanks to C & G for the retrieve, and nice stop in the pub on the way back! :)
