After a wait in strong conditions, the wind moderated and several people took off under a low cloud base with haze below There were good lifty lines out towards Arlington and a few people pushed across the A27, guided by Vincent's gleeful cackles. With an expedition along the ridge to the beacon, this was enough for an FAI triangle a bit smaller than John's a couple of days later. If I had just carried on to Alfriston it would have been slightly better.
