Title: | Caburn-Dallington |
Site: | Mount Caburn |
Pilot: | Rob Simpson |
Date of flight: | 8th June 2014 |
Wing type: | Paraglider |
Flight details: | 27km, launched straight into a climb above Caburn landing field following Ghandi, who turned back, then a cracking climb to 3,800 just before East Hoathly, and a low save on the edge of Heathfield and another 10 km toward Battle, landing at Dallington. Apart from some wind shear towards the end, a gentle flight. Followed the road into low ground when I should have tried the rising forest, perhaps. A UK PB for me. |
