Christmas Party and Annual Awards Ceremony

17 Dec 2011 - 19:00
17 Dec 2011 - 23:00

Christmas is coming and I am already laying down a nice winter pelt, and contemplating hibernating till spring, so now is the time to turn our attention towards having some fun and celebrating the year's achievements.

This year's Christmas Party will be at the Blacksmith's Arms Offham, within staggering distance of Cooksbridge station & a slightly longer stagger to Lewes station. The menu is great and has won loads of awards recently, so there should be a good spread. Cost will be £20 per person for a three course dinner.

Summer Bash

30 Aug 2008 - 00:00

The SHGC Summer Bash will be held at Airworks on Saturday August 30th.
There is plenty of 'continental' style camping. ie., where you pitch the tent
with a club hammer. Really it is more suited to camping in vehicles or
self-supporting tents, such as the (£29ish) Quechua/Millets 2 second tent.
There is currently a small area of grass available, by the river bridge,
enough to accommodate about five small tents. Please do not pitch in the
surrounding fields as we are still seeking permission.
We aim to provide a marquee, music, some beer, barbecues for you to cook your
