Next Glynde Meeting - Weather Homework

I plan to refresh our knowledge of the basic synotic charts..
See http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/brack0.gif for T+24
and http://www.weathercharts.org/ukmomslp.htm for 5 Day charts.

And, by popular demand, understanding the lapse rate charts.
For actuals..
http://weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/europe.html (03882 for Hurstmonceux, Gif to 700mb)
For forecasts..
http://rasp.inn.leedsmet.ac.uk/RASPtable.html Select day and time and then click on Soundings / Hurstmonceux for the forecast.
http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000... This gives the +24 forecast sounding from GFS at Heathrow.

After a quick look at the above sources we can have a Q & A session on anything meteorological.
