SIV in the First World! - LAKE ANNECY, FRANCE

This course is personally tailored specifically to ensure that whatever level pilot you are now, you'll remain in one piece to become an old pilot! As well as being educational, SIV is great fun... The initial trepidation at collapsing your perfectly functional glider is rapidly replaced by a huge grin as you learn how safe your wing is and just how easy it is to pilot out of the most unusual attitudes. If you do manage to get it slightly wrong or are just having too much fun to stop, the warm fresh water of Lake Annecy waits patiently below...

Unlike the unregulated Turkish system, we operate using the FFVL SIV group size of 8 pilots. With four instructors that makes a 2:1 ratio!

Itinerary:
Saturday-Sunday: Preparation and guided flying.
Monday - Thursday: loads of SIV flying!

How much is the training going to cost? How about a measly £550 including transport to launch, lifejacket hire, briefing and video de-briefing, tuition, DVD of the trip etc.



Self-catering accommodation at the Maison du Moulin at Doussard will cost €150 each for the course duration, payable in euro on arrival. Food will be organized on a ‘kitty’ basis when we choose not to eat out. Transfer from/to Geneva will be based on your getting the flights below. You are welcome to use any other means to get there, but please bracket the flight if you want to be collected!
