In June 2010 we'll be running an exclusive paragliding trip to Portugal, aimed at all intermediate paraglider pilots, and above wanting to hone their thermalling and cross country flying skills. Expand your XC horizons in a fantastic location!
Portugal offers fantastic flying with great potential from numerous flying sites in the Serra da Estrela mountain range covering different wind directions. Conditions are often smooth and predictable with a high cloudbase and big XC possibilities into Spain...
A round of the Paragliding World Cup will be held at one of the main local paragliding sites, Linhares this year. The area is regularly used for national and international competitions, because of its large, safe launch areas, easy landing options and excellent flying potential.
With Flybubble Paragliding giving comprehensive 'site and flight' guidance and XC instruction, and local experts taking care of the local organisation, you have the best of both worlds to help you get the most out of your trip!

We've now offering a special 'introductory' rate for our paragliding trip to Portugal 19-26 June 2010!
The following is included in the cost of this very special trip:
- Airport transfer from & to our accommodation
- 7 night’s accommodation, sharing rooms
- Full board: Breakfast; packed lunch and evening meal are all included (Wine and OJ with meals included, all other alcohol and soft drinks available to purchase)
- 7 days transfers to / from take-offs / landing fields
- 7 days of expert paragliding guidance, thermalling instruction and cross country coaching

- Working with a local paragliding expert, site & flight guidance by English speaking paragliding experts

Airline flights are not included. Flights available with TAP from London Gatwick are approx. £125.00.
This trip is also available as a flexible short trip for qualified paraglider pilots:
If you can't do a full week (i.e. you'd like to do a long weekend or a few days) then we can also accommodate you for this at a cost of £110 per day. SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER ONLY £90 PER DAY! This includes: Expert paragliding guidance, thermalling instruction and cross country coaching; General 'site & flight' guidance by Carlo Borsattino & local paragliding experts; Weather, local area and flight information from local paragliding experts; transfers to / from take-offs / landing fields; Shared accommodation and full board. This cost doesn't include airport transfers, unless you are arriving or departing on the same days as the main group. You should consider hiring your own car, the approx cost for 4 days would be 200 Euros.
