Skills Week Masterclass

Saturday 5th Sept. This course is going to take the form of a skills clinic. This is for all CP qualified pilots and above and I will be taking a small group and developing very specific skills. For example – wing energy use – wing overs, turning methods, low level flying, scratching, slow flying, fast flying, kiting, various different launch techniques and much more.

This course is different to other courses in that I will be giving you an up close and personal insight into these finer techniques that are very rarely taught with a massive attention to detail. You will see a huge increase in your ability and confidence that will take you to the next level and beyond.
As well as being highly educational, this will be a really fun packed week of like minded pilots with evenings spent around the BBQ.
The cost for this course is £495. Includes 7 nights accommodation, 6 days tuition and return Bordeaux airport transfers.

Dune Du Pyla, located on the coast West of Bordeaux, is the largest sand dune in Europe and is the safest and most reliable paragliding location we go to.
We have been running courses here since 1998.
The Dune is ideal for beginners, and experts alike, with its soft sand, unobstructed slopes and reliable sea breezes – not to mention some stunning views and sunsets.
We take no more than six students per week, with two very experienced BHPA instructors, ensuring you get the most out of your week long course.
Accommodation is on a self catering basis in very modern mobile homes, nestled in the pine forest just behind the dune. The mobile homes have two bedrooms, shower, toilet and kitchen. Outside is a sun terrace with table and chairs. You will have your own room and be sharing the home with one other person. There is also a swimming pool and restaurants. You need to arrive at either Bordeaux airport or Arcachon train station, or at the accommodation if you are self driving, on Saturday 5th Sept. The course is six days and runs through to the following Friday with a homeward departure on Saturday 12th. Included are your return transfers from Bordeaux airport or Arcachon train station, 6 days tuition, 7 nights accommodation and radios. The cost is £495 per person.
