Its that time of year again, to dust of your wing and dancing shoes and get yourself ‘up north’ for the greatest Paragliding gathering of the year, the annual Lakes Charity Classic and Buttermere Bash. Based in arguably the most beautiful place in England your Cumbria Soaring Club committee have been working tirelessly through out the winter to provide you with the quality of experience that those in the know have come to expect. This great event continues to evolve and we request your company to help turn this year into another huge success.

Refresher Day For Wings That Have Collected Dust: If you've not been out in a l-o-n-g time, and would like ensure your knowledge and confidence are still there, then I'm trying to arrange a refresher day with probably an instructor or coach spending half the day with us. This will be Sunday June 15th. There may be a small fee for this - I'm still negotiating, but I need to know who's interested ASAP please.

Under no circumstances park at the western end of Ranscombe Lane.
May I also take this opportunity to remind ALL pilots that it is NOT PERMITTED to walk to launch through Airworks' training field. This rule is primarily to avoid parking conflict in this busy area.

Hi all
I will sadly not be able to attend the next club meeting as I will be away in France working on a tan.
