the Southern Club to participate.

certainly do with some reserves and what we discovered last year at
Crickhowell is that we can turn up with more and pick a team on a day. In

Following on from the series of Pilot Lectures, as well as the Pilot Exam
sitting this month's meeting will look at the practical aspects of flying
cross country from the South Downs including : Preparation, Airspace,
reading an Air Map, in-flight Navigation, using your GPS, downloading
tracklogs and the XC League.
We will also have a Q&A session on GPS's so bring yours along with you (as
well as your airspace map).
This will be followed next month by a talk by Mark Watts on how to do it !

Airworks will be hosting an Airwave demo day on April 12th. We hope to
have examples of all gliders in the range, including the new Sport 4 and
the new Alpine mountain glider.
Please let me know if you are interested in the demo day so that I can get an idea of numbers.
